So, this was an interesting piece to make. I started by generating a crystal landscape using the AI (and we all know how hard to make those are lately, though the negative prompt thing that I just worked out how to use does help). However, the AI isn't good at doing different-coloured crystals, so in order to get the pallette right, I had to hue-shift the picture in an image editor. I then added grandfather clocks from an online PNG, because for some reason the AI is really good at turning them into fantasy-style clock-towers. Having assembled the collage, I then fed it back to the AI as a base image, combined with a prompt about towers in an emerald landscape. The result was this fantastical image. The end terrain wasn't quite as crystalline as I was hoping for, but the colouration, the cascading river and the placement of the towers was perfect.
