Hebrews 11:7 (NIV) - "By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith, he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith."
Noah's obedience in building the ark is often admired for the miraculous deliverance it brought. However, we must not overlook the years of hard work and faithful preparation that preceded that moment. Noah's commitment, perseverance, and trust in God's promises were evident as he diligently constructed the ark, despite being mocked by others.
We live in a world that often craves instant success, but God's plans are not bound by our desire for immediate gratification. He often uses the unseen seasons of diligent preparation to mold and equip us for His purposes. Preparation involves deepening our relationship with God, cultivating our faith, and aligning our lives with His will.
Though the preparation phase may not always be glamorous, it is during this time that God develops our character, strengthens our faith, and equips us for the great tasks He has prepared. Let us embrace the unseen years of preparation with faith and holy fear, knowing that God is at work shaping us for His glorious plans. As we faithfully prepare ourselves, we position ourselves for God's divine purposes and open the door for His extraordinary work through us.
