It is the level at which awakening is occurring (awakening is when the soul entity remembers where it came from—nothingness). The closer to white, the nearer the soul is ready to leave the time/space continuum. The yellow color represents what you call the angel's realm; the other colors represent different levels of awareness and consciousness. It "felt" my next question, and it replied. Souls are eternal and come from nothingness. Nothingness created space and time to "experience" a physical existence. Most souls forget their origin and are trapped in this place you call the universe. When you are dreaming, you can't stay in the dream forever; you need to wake up and interact with the physical world. Once you have purified your karma, you can stay in the dream forever, which is to rejoin nothingness. Nothing is worth clinging to, not even their savings. They have already lost all the battles they fought, If they can't free the mind from active thoughts. With an open heart they can flood their world with divine light. With love to all, kindness and compassion no more wars to fight. Banishing the self with give your soul immense might. I will give them hope during all those endless nights.
