Hi, I'm Wanda :) I love swimming :) I swim in a long kaftan or a tiedye umbrella dress (occasionally a kimono or a wedding dress!) at the local pool several times a week. I am also nonbinary, and a computer geek, and love plushies :) <br /> I am also attempting to write my own operating system/emulator, called ::SHE+ILA:: (Segmented Hierarchical Environment (the datastore) + Interactive Language Architecture (The Instruction Set Processor / virtual ALU). It runs on the Atari 800XL, Apple ][, and Pentium 4 PC. It is document-oriented (no apps), segmented (no linking loader needed), and virtual (no serialisation needed). It evolved from a MUD/MUG (Wanderland) I ran on a big DEC host many years ago :) <br /> I do not *need* to travel, and have no car (even electric, anymore) as everything I *need* is in my local town in the East Midlands. <br /> I have no landline, and my mobile phone is permanently switched off. I am contactible only by email, or DDG messaging. I no longer run a website from my house, as I no longer have Cable Broadband or ADSL. I don't *need* it, since the only Internet I now use is DDG, Email, and occasionally YouTube. Regarding the latter, when an advert longer than 5 seconds comes on, I press MUTE and ESCAPE, and re-select the video from the menu, then fast-forward to where I was, then un-mute it. My only use for MS-Windows is playing old video games (such as UT99, UT2k4, and Sims 3). I do not do MAC or Linux. I do do MS-DOS 5.0 and Apple DOS 3.3 :) (Not ProDOS, as it doesn't honour ESC editing). I also used to have a PDP-11. but it was rather big and is now in Bletchley Park museum (TNMoC).

And even that came from past experience, or out of the quantum vacuum (akasha). :) If you like, also let me know where you've used it. <br /> However, DON'T use it in adverts -- they are a drain of attention, and they'll eventually kill the media through trivialisation/tolerance :( And be careful when swimming in long swirly dresses, lol :) They can get tangled round your feet (see the posts on my old website).
