To get back into it I worked with all my micron markers and filled shapes. The circle in the middle was still a question for me. Ultimately, Yin and Yang.
Yin is black and Yang is white. The symbol of yin and yang shows through its shape that the two flow into each other. This symbolizes the idea that nothing stands still. According to Taoism, everything is in harmony with each other and at the same time everything is constantly subject to change.
For me it is also the idea that without light there is no darkness. Without good there is no bad. So if you really want to live, you need these contrasts. If it has ever been very dark, a small light source can provide a lot of happiness.
That may also be why people often talk about the apparently small things when they are concerned with the value of life. Then I think of an episode of House in which a terminal patient had one wish: to see the sun rise.

Het lijkt erop dat er wetgeving ontbreekt om deze vorm van terreur aan te pakken of de wil om hier korte metten mee te maken.
Eigenlijk zijn de daders gruwelijke zielepoten. Wat een onvermogen om op een fatsoenlijke manier met mensen om te kunnen gaan. Ik vraag me af welke toegevoegde waarde dit soort mensen heeft voor een organisatie en voor de samenleving. Het zijn geen incidenten. Er is structureel iets mis. Weggaan, is voor jezelf het beste maar het echte probleem wordt niet aangepakt.

Prompt: The topic of polarization was on my agenda. While on the left the opponents are called weirdos and unworldly and ridiculed, from the right the others are called stupid, retarded and criminal. That doesn't really invite conversation. Each side is confirmed via social media and pampered in a bubble with their own right. Where have objective facts gone? Opinions are presented as facts. They say defining the real problem is half the solution. Divide and conquer, is that a fact or an opinion? The huiskamerartiest has a drawing in which there is still a connection between left and right. We can find each other again in the middle.
