Once upon a time, there was a little kitten named Mittens. One day, Mittens wandered away from her home and got lost in the __________. Mittens was very scared and didn't know how to get back home. She meowed and meowed, hoping that someone would hear her.
Luckily, a kind girl named Emily was walking through the park and heard Mittens' __________. Emily followed the meows and found Mittens hiding behind a __________. Emily picked up the little kitten and held her close.
"Are you lost?" Emily asked Mittens. Mittens meowed back, as if to say, "Yes!"
Emily knew just what to do. She took Mittens to the local __________, where they checked her for a microchip. Thankfully, Mittens had a microchip and they were able to contact her __________.
Mittens' owner was very happy to hear that Mittens had been found. They rushed to the animal hospital to pick her up. Mittens was so happy to be reunited with her family.
From that day on, Mittens never wandered away from her home again. She knew that she was loved and that her family would always take care of her.
