Prompt: Once a virus has entered, it spreads its DNA or RNA into the host's body. After which new viruses are built that can penetrate other hosts in different ways.
If you have good resistance, your body usually switches them off. After which you are often more resistant to a new infection.
It's the same with opinions. They come to you and make you think more or less, after which you can also spread them. What yardstick do you use to measure your opinions? How open are you to other insights or have you already been lured into a bubble?
Fear is a bad advisor, they say. Fear is abused by people who want to impose their opinions on you. A scared brain thinks differently. The moral compass will be positioned differently.
The huiskamerartiest thinks about these kinds of things. With polarization you usually have a silent majority and on both sides extreme people with opinions who try to draw people towards them. History has proven that solutions do not lie there. Ultimately, the silent majority rises like a sleeping giant. Like parents who let fighting children try to find a solution themselves, but intervene when things get too crazy. I think the current world is pretty crazy.
