Prompt: Some people like karaoke. Many of these people have their Go To karaoke song. If you know me, it's no secret that I'm a weirdo. Not just a little bit. I'm like, mentally ill. Big time.
My Go To karaoke song, back in the day, was this one. It's about the most earnest and awkward rock song I can think of from my teenaged years. Because it was so earnest and awkward, I (for some reason I can't remember) came up with the idea to make my Go To karaoke song THIS SONG but sung in the voice of Party Band Singer of the B52's FRED FUCKING SCHNEIDER.
Hopefully, one day, Raton will have the pleasure of hearing me sing Live's "Lightning Crashes" in the voice of Fred Schneider of the B52's.
Imagine the first lines, as a B52's PARTY SONG:
"Lightning Crashes! And a young mother DIES! Her placenta! Falls to the floor!"
That was an actual lyric to a POPULAR HIT of the mid-90s. Were the 90s more strange than we remember?
