materials series - origami reeds

• Model:

• Size: 5960 X 3352 (19.98 MP)

• Used settings:

  • Prompt: Widescreen, HD, 16:9, 3840x2160 (4K UHD), complete width full image with no cutoffs, full frontal extreme origami rendering of a row of giant reeds (arundo donax). The reeds are a beautiful mid-green, with very long, blade-like leaves and upright, feathery light-green plumes painstakingly constructed from intricately folded paper. The leaves and stems are folded from stiffer paper, whereas the plumes are made of thin, light-green and light-brown tissue paper. Although the reeds are an origami project, they look uncannily realistic, and are set against a mid-blue sky, which additionally accentuates the illusion of real plants. The origami tableau is sunlit from the front. Craft creation made as a comunity project, with many hands putting in long hours and great attention to detail.

materials series - daylily median strip executed as a panel made of broken glass

• Model:

• Size: 5960 X 3352 (19.98 MP)

• Used settings:

  • Prompt: Widescreen, HD, 16:9, 3840x2160 (4K UHD), full image extending all the way to the edges, rectangular, full frontal image showing a low-poly rendition of a long, broad median strip planted densely with yellow daylilies in full bloom. The low-poly image is made of extremely closely spaced, very small broken colored glass bits, arranged and glued with great care on a transparent, plexiglass background. The left part of the image shows the edge of the gray highway lane immediately adjacent to the median strip, the right part of the image shows the edge of the gray highway lane to the right of the median. The image focuses on the abundant daylily growth on the median strip. Unusual choice of motif for this intensely backlit glass art panel extending far beyond the edges of the shown 16:9 format. Museum-quality new glass art focusing on recycling broken glass and showing mundane motifs. Masterfully executed and made with painstaking, loving attention to detail, the glass panel fulfills the highest standard of visual perfection.
