Contest - Fantasy Apothecary Shop

• Model: ChatGPT 2 (Ultra)

• Size: 3812 X 2144 (8.17 MP)

• Used settings:

  • Prompt: A tiny, old potion shop hidden in a narrow street of an ancient fantasy town, somewhere between an apothecary, an alchemist’s workshop and a forgotten government laboratory. Dark wooden shelves bend under hundreds of mismatched glass bottles, ceramic jars and stoppered flasks, each containing strange liquids, dried herbs, roots, powders and faintly glowing substances. Handwritten labels, faded inventory tags and tiny official-looking classification cards hang from the shelves. Copper pipes, brass gauges and peculiar measuring instruments have been added over generations, repaired countless times rather than replaced. Behind the counter, an young, female apothecary with short, red hair, dressed in a black sundress, carefully measures a pale blue potion while a small iron cauldron bubbles quietly on a stove. Nothing explodes; the magic feels old, practical and slightly unpredictable. One bottle contains what appears to be bottled moonlight, another has a tiny storm cloud turning slowly inside it, and a jar marked “RAIN — LOCAL, SUMMER, DO NOT SHAKE” occasionally drips upward. At the counter stands an unusual customer: a short female Dark Elf traveler with olive-bronze skin, silver-black hair, pointed ears and amber eyes, wearing practical weather-stained traveling clothes. She is holding a folded prescription covered in incomprehensible handwriting and looking deeply suspicious of the potion they have just been given. Warm candlelight and amber lamps, deep shadows, green and blue magical glows reflected in old glass, worn timber, brass, copper and stone. The shop should feel inhabited and useful rather than theatrical: cluttered but organized according to a system only the proprietor understands. Small visual jokes and mysterious details reward close inspection. Technique: Ink and liquid watercolor on paper. Finely detailed linework, slightly muted earthy palette with jewel-toned magical highlights, old European fantasy mixed with eccentric Victorian scientific equipment, gently surreal, warm, atmospheric, humorous without becoming cartoonish. No modern objects, no generic wizard hats, no oversized fantasy clichés.

• Used settings:

  • Prompt: TAn old scary ghost wearing a cowboy boots and hat drifted through the dusty doorway of the old western drugstore, searching the shelves for the poison it remembered from another life. The shelf are full of bottles and spider webs. Scorpions are crawling on the counter. The faded sign above the counter still read “Apothecary & Druggist.” Dust motes swirled through the pale moonlight, settling on rows of amber bottles whose labels had long since peeled away. Spider web is on the walls. The ghost remembered the poison by its color: a deep, almost luminous blue. At the back of the shop, beneath a collapsed rack of patent medicines, it found a single bottle untouched by time. The ghost reached for it. Its fingers passed through the glass. Then the bottle wif fuming.

Hope in a myterious store.

• Model: ChatGPT 2 (Pro)

• Size: 3812 X 2144 (8.17 MP)

• Used settings:

  • Prompt: The scene is set in a small old shop. There are rows and rows of crowded shelves. It is dim, but not dark inside and gives the aura of a shop that is very infrequently visited, like a shop that an old owner runs more out of a hobby now than as a business. There is a murky plate glass window in the front of the shop that lets in some light but is now translucent instead of clear. Written on the window in large letters is the following text: "Elixirs and Potions" but it is written backwards so it would be readable from outside if the window wasn't so cloudy. The shelves in the shop are tall and packed with clear glass bottles holding a variety of liquids. Every bottle is a different size and shape - from tiny perfume style to large carafes. Every bottle holds a different color of liquid. Some are dark and murky, some are bright and glowing, and some are crystal clear. No two bottles have the exact same color of liquid in them. Every bottle appears to have a tiny label affixed to it, but there are so many scattered on the shelves only the closest few are visible. The ones that can be read have the following labels written in a spidery script: "Flight", "Happy Dreams", "Instant Warmth" and "Warts Away". There is a space on the shelf where one small bottle has been removed. Standing in the middle of the shop is a boy of about 12 years old. He is short for his age and a bit skinny. He is dressed like a typical 1980s boy. He wears a green long-sleeved button up shirt and blue jeans. He has brown hair cut in a bowl cut and brown eyes. His blue jeans have muddy patches and one knee is town. His shirt is partially untucked and a middle button is missing. His hair is messed up. The overall appearance is that the boy looks like he has been in a scuffle. He is holding one of the bottles from the shelf in front of him in his hands. The label on the bottle reads "Bully Repellent" in the same spidery scrawl at the other bottles on the shelves. The boy is looking at this bottle in wonder as if he can't believe quite what he has found in this mysterious shop. The boy's hands should look perfectly normal with the correct number of fingers, and there should be no usually formed or extra limbs. The shelves in the store should be made of wood and look very old, but structurally normal. The overall image is one of fantasy, where a bullied 1980s boy has found his dream in a mysterious shop. Glowing golden optomechanical lenses hover near her eyes, analyzing swirling chemical reactions in a suspended glass beaker held by her gloved hands. The Rooted Threshold

• Used settings:

  • Prompt: A mysterious entrance hall leading to an old, narrow general store, its interior walls and floor intricately woven from the roots and leaves of a colossal world tree. The composition has strong three-dimensional depth: a shadowed foreground opens into a winding, root-formed passage that narrows dramatically toward a brilliantly sunlit back courtyard, pulling the eye deep into the interior and suggesting a journey into the psyche. Uneven arches, receding shelves, overlapping foliage, and layered objects create a rich sense of spatial progression. The air seems filled with the inviting scent of delicious tropical fruits, fragrant teas, and dried herbal medicines. Warm, abundant sunlight pours through open windows and doorways, creating striking pools of light and deep, mysterious shadows, revealing a vibrant jungle vista beyond and a cheerful, sun-drenched street in the foreground. Inside, luxuriant tropical houseplants intertwine with carefully arranged dried herbs, exotic fruits, old jars, baskets, and intriguing wares. A few luminous fruits and unusual objects provide subtle visual accents along the winding path. No people are present. Trees are visible in the distant back courtyard, reinforcing the layered perspective. This scene is rendered as a detailed and superbly crafted oil painting, blending the intricate symbolic lines and dramatic contrasts of Aubrey Beardsley with the masterful light, domesticity, and rich textures of Pieter de Hooch, creating a cheerful, inviting, yet profoundly mysterious atmosphere.

I would like to see the voluminous surrounding atmosphere of Janet's hall, where she today prepares aromatic essential oils (orange, peppermint, lavender and lemon). ((Miss Janet is a hereditary herbalist. She is a simple, cheerful, modern girl of 32 years old. Her heart is full of love, compassion, and friendliness. She is slender, of medium height, graceful.
