Our ginger-haired girl steps into the courtyard with freshly washed white sheets, carrying them toward the old rope stretched between two sun-warmed stone walls. She lifts one over the line, and the first sea breeze catches it, making the fabric billow around her like a pale sail. For a moment, her face disappears behind it, then emerges with a soft smile. Her donkey watches from behind the low wall, patient and curious, while the cat has already settled beneath the stone steps, following every movement with sleepy eyes. A tiny sprig of lavender rests beside a forgotten lemon on the wooden table, carrying yesterday's supper into the new morning. The scene is built through Impasto — thick, tactile whites of linen, rough limestone, weathered wood and the soft weight of the donkey's coat. Palette Knife shapes the courtyard in confident, earthy planes, giving the walls, steps and hanging fabric a handmade structure.
