This psychic was trained at the same Order as the Priest and the Natural, but he is not as powerful as they are. His telepathic powers only allow him to read people's basic thoughts - he can neither force the target's will nor even send messages to a target, whether psychic or not. However, he has a VERY high degree of empathy. While he was still a student, he showed great aptitude for tutoring new students. The Order paid for him to take the short course in history and literature at the Collegium and then he worked as a teacher's assistant for a year before he began working as a teacher in the Order's monastery. He has worked at that job for over a decade - then, something draws him into the conspiracy afoot. Perhaps he is on a pilgrimage, and becomes The Man Who Knew Too Much.
