A 1970's dark science fiction scene that prominently features a terrifying space creature with a large head and wire-like tentacles coming from its mouth, similar to Cthulhu but taken over by the Borg. The creature is seen overwhelming an astronaut in an advanced space suit.
We'd finally caught a glimpse deep into the nebula from which the horrors sent their progeny. Hundreds of spheres were being purpose built for their intended star systems and tooled to maddening perfection by a series of cephalopodic engineers with highly specialized tooling at the ends of their tentacular appendages.
Our hearts sank at the horrifying scope of the images appearing before us. Were they to be trusted? Had our own technology been sabotaged by the enemy and further used to instill yet more fear into the very core of our leadership?
