This is why my homebrew retro OS/language is no longer open-source (public-domain). It would require each user to do a patent search (I do not have the time nor the expertise to do this) to ensure that no copyrights or patents are infringed. Furthermore, big computer companies may modify and tweak the source code, even if I publish it in the Library of Congress (as I did with KDS 5000) large corporations will work around this. So for now, at least, the source code remaineth proprietary and not PD. My time is more wisely spent than sorting out the industry's legal problems it makes for itself. And NO. I am not willing (or able) to sell the franchise to ::SHE+ILA:: due again to the legal issues involved. Setting up a company requires proof of ID, DNA samples, etc, and the retaining of accountants, solictors, etc. So there you have it :)
