Nothing to do with Twitter. Or Apple. Or Nascom. But Quarterdeck did have a go (DesqView X). Personally, I still like IAS (made by DEC) though I did rather like OS/2. And OS-9. And maybe OS-8. I remember crashing OS/2 though (I think I moved the Desktop onto itself). Where is Lisa? Apple Computer abandoned it... There's rumoured to be several thousand Lisa's buried in a field somewhere (or was it Apple ///'s). Now the Apple /// was deliberately crippled so that it WOULDN'T support 64K systems (including ProDOS). Then again, ProDOS was deliberately crippled so thet "Escape Editing" didn't work. That is why I still use DOS 3.3 :) Then a gain, I grew up on Kronos (CDC) and Maximop (ICL/QMC) :)
