1/9 - This is the day, a Canary was born.
2/9 - She was given a home, where no sunlight would be shown.
3/9 - Into the depths, always by his side,
4/9 - but alas came the day, when man lost his stride.
5/9 - In the passing moments, and with one final sight,
She watched with indifference as he faded in might.
6/9 - Then a dash to the surface, searching high and low,
7/9 - seemingly guided by hope's warmful glow.
8/9 - With a heart full of resilience, she came to find,
9/9 - nature’s brilliance, she’ll cherish without humankind.
