A fantasy sci-fi swashbuckler admires a flaming sword, it's definitely not a flaming light sabre! Behind him an alien night sky.

So anyway, the original artwork for this I did as a combination of photomontage and digital painting, intending it to be a sort of under-painting for a retro fantasy/sci-fi inspired acrylic paining I would have done over it, but I never got around to pursuing it further. I thought it would make an interesting test-subject for this however, and I must confess I do like how it turned out.
