Ironwood Fortress is said to have been carved from the root of a world tree leftover when the world tree separated from this realm. The slick ironwood beneath the castle and the hurricane winds that surround it make it impossible to approach. It is believed that the giants who carved this castle still inhabit it to this day, but they've never been seen outside the walls or even atop them.
