More about Witches, Wizards and Fairies Part 12 The Candle Revenant

The Candle Revenant is born from rituals left incomplete. In forgotten temples and abandoned sanctuaries, where ceremonies were interrupted or forbidden, something lingers. That lingering becomes form. The Revenant is not a single entity but a manifestation of intention—of spells never finished, prayers never answered. Its body constantly melts and reforms, as if struggling to complete itself. Those who enter such places often feel an unnatural warmth, followed by the sensation of being watched. The Revenant does not attack immediately. Instead, it attempts to draw the intruder into its unfinished purpose. People have reported sudden urges to continue rituals they do not understand, lighting candles, speaking unknown words. If the ritual is completed, the Revenant may vanish peacefully. If not, it grows unstable, its form collapsing into violent bursts of flame and wax. It is both a warning and a consequence—a reminder that some forces demand completion.

A full shot of an eerie and dark dungeon, a human-like figure made of melted wax, with lit candles embedded in its body, stands in the center of the room. The figure is covered in flowing, dripping wax, forming an unsettling, textured skin while casting a warm glow. The figure’s face glows brightly, adding to its mysterious and ghostly appearance. The dungeon's rough, stone walls and arched ceiling are dimly lit, highlighting the ancient and decaying structure. Cobwebs hang from the ceiling and corners, suggesting neglect and age. The floor is covered with scattered, melted candles of various sizes, creating a sea of wax and ambient light. In the background, to the right, a stone altar is visible, draped with faded red and gold fabrics. Various mysterious objects, including small figurines, possibly human skulls, bones, and ancient scrolls, are placed on the altar. Near the altar, a three-pronged candelabra stands on the floor, holding unlit candles. The overall scene is dark and mysterious, with strong contrasts between light and shadow, emanating an ominous and mystical atmosphere.
