The Stolen Straw Hat A warm Mediterranean afternoon in another open corner of the rustic farmyard, with the distant blue sea visible beyond old stone walls and olive trees. In the foreground, the playful young donkey has just stolen a wide pink straw hat with lavender on it, and proudly holds it between its teeth, trotting away with its unexpected prize.
