Oh, the chattering
babbling
river
released from
the grip of
winter,
precursor
to the best
stories in the world,
sent from
the heart
of the earth,
full of swirling
bubbling,
twirling,
sparkling,
gleaming
beams of sunlight,
glinting, twinkling,
light bubbles of laughter,
chuckling, twittering
stories of
budding flowers,
unfolding leaves,
the rustling and bustling
of birds
singing and chirping
in the trees--

The air ringing
and bursting
with sweet
earthy
fragrances
and dreams of
sun-filled
languorous
color-filled days
to come.

Oh, Happy
is the Heart
when the song
and dance
of Spring
unfurls
its Glorious
Display.

Somewhat out of Season, but I just stumbled upon this writing while cleaning up a small pile of random papers. It was inspired by a short story I read a while back within a book I cannot recall at the moment. Anyway, a Happy Thought that may be welcome.
