Celeste is a Blood Child of the Delacroix Line, and she is Blood Sister to Vera Marie Delacroix. However, the sisters have different fathers, and Celeste's father was not Grigori, nor is Celeste, so she is not a witch like Vera. However, like her father she carries the recessive Grigori gene, and so both have considerable psychic abilities, as is often the case with carriers of the gene. In this portrait, we see Celeste at her zenith ; in middle age, she would suffer from mental illness brought on from her psi abilities.
Her father insisted that she carry his surname Harper, which saved her from being named Marie Celeste, the ill-fated ship.
