ArtistA classroom in an etherial castle with long benches and tables separated by a central aisle on one side and a teacher's desk and chair before a blackboard on the other. The colors of the walls, tables, chairs and benches range from pale yellows to warm orange tones and from pure white to pale blue tones. In the background large, delicately vaulted windows offer a view on a lush landscape of fields and forests, interspersed by traditional-style villages below. In the classroom feathered quills, pieces of parchment, writing slates, notebooks, books and leather school bags all float around in disarray. Floating inkwells spill ink in different colors, such as blue, green, magenta or yellow. Several anthropomorphic animals, such as hawks, eagles, vultures, parrots, cats, dogs or moles in pale blue robes and cloaks also float around the room. Celestia, an anthropomorphic marabou stork in a delicate, semi-translucent, pale blue dress. Celestia floats among the chaos in the room. Celestia holds a staff made of pale birchwood which has a glittering blue topaz inset at the top.
Magic spells that aren't cast with the utmost precision can quickly spiral out of control. One of the reasons for the seclusion of the schools of magic is to avoid accidents involving innocent bystanders and the lawsuits that would inevitably follow. On this occasion, one of Celestia Southwind's students learned the heard way that messing with gravity is a dangerous occupation and overestimating one's own capabilities can have serious consequences. Luckily, Celestia Southwind has seen worse and knows how to fix the problem. Meanwhile the walls of the school contain the damage to a single classroom. However, this student will have quite the mess to clean up.
