The strange occult landscape of the fog-shrouded spectral world in a highly detailed landscape using precision pen and inks combined with watercolor painting
The doom of this city came about through mysterious means in ages past, its history unknown to modern sages. However, it's possible to make some educated guesses, e.g., the yellow field is a pool of a strange molten material too hot to approach closely, and it gives off a poisonous gas.Then again, many of the buildings were left empty but untouched by the upheavals of the earth all around. In any case, the growth of the surrounding forest indicates that the doom took place long ago.
