Focus is on an enormous pylon that stands before the first court in front of the temple complex known as the Ramesseum, with the royal palace at the left and the gigantic statue of the king at the back. Inscribed on the pylon there are scenes of the Pharaoh in battle against the Hittites. The inscription should depict Pharaoh on his chariot followed by his army. Viewpoint is from someone standing directly in front of the pylon from a few yards back. Colors on pylon are gold and yellow for the chariot, red, blue and gold for the chariot harness, chestnut horses with black manes and blue plumes, Ramesses red ochre skin, white kilt with blue edging, Egyptian blue war crown, yellow and gold jewelry. No clouds.
An illustration of an ancient Egyptian temple with a large pylon on the right covered in hieroglyphs and large colorful reliefs depicting a battle scene (meant to illustrate Ramesses fighting the Hittites). According to Chat GPT, it really should have more color, but I didn't want to write a book just to depict one scene. This pylon was part of a whole temple complex, one of his many building projects.
I saw that today is, so far as they can reconstruct it, the anniversary of Ramesses II ascending to the throne of Egypt. He was on the throne for 66 years!
