(Story continued from "The Ghost-Like Creature Who Refused To Die" image) The Wizard of Mars 1965 - Four astronauts, Dorothy, Doc, Charlie, and Steve, crash land on Mars when taking readings, and are left with only a four days of supply of oxygen. They must try to survive on the surface. Discovering evidence of a lost civilization, a Golden Road has lead the hapless astronauts to a dusty, seemingly abandoned, though haunted city. Exploring within, they come face to face with a surviving member of a long dead Martian race, a ghost-like creature who refused to die! Yet, the vast intellect serves to telepathically directs them to a nearby room where they encounter the colossus of the universe! The mighty Wizard of Mars! Before them floats a wizened disembodied apparition. Once upon a time, the conqueror of a thousand worlds, and master of the stars, he is the collective consciousness of all Martians! He explained that his race had inadvertently trapped itself in a Time Lock eons before, while pondering moving to a higher plane of existence. The great and powerful Wizard of Mars seeks help to end their living death... Destroy the time device imprisoning them!
