Prompt

A cinematic fantasy illustration of Grimbold riding on Rusttooth, his rusty wingless riding dragon, standing inside a colossal underground chamber beneath Iron Mountain. A gigantic silver bell larger than a house hangs from enormous chains above a circular platform covered with glowing star symbols. Ancient machine guardian statues with blue crystal eyes stand in the background. Golden light reflects from the bell's engraved stars while mysterious energy fills the cavern. Grimbold is a small goblin with greenish skin, large ears, goggles, and a red scarf. Rusttooth is a wingless rusty mechanical dragon with a broad saddle area large enough for a rider. Epic scale, ancient mystery, glowing runes, detailed fantasy machinery, cinematic lighting, highly detailed painterly fantasy art, style of Donato Giancola × Ian McQue × John Howe, 4:3 aspect ratio, include a very small sterilized full-body white unicorn logo with delicate proportions and the text “AI by Unicorngraphics” beneath it in the bottom right corner.

Part 13 Grimbold and the Rusty Riding Dragon – The Bell Beneath Iron Mountain
Grimbold and Rusttooth had left the Archive of Forgotten Inventors only a few days earlier when they discovered a map older than any they had ever seen. The parchment was not made of paper but of thin metal covered with strange star symbols. When Grimbold unrolled it, the metal began to glow faintly. A single line appeared and stretched northward toward a region marked on no ordinary map. “Another mystery,” Grimbold muttered as he scratched one of his long ears. Rusttooth answered with a deep growl that usually meant agreement. Together they set out once more. For many days they traveled through jagged mountains and across vast plains of black stone. The farther north they went, the stranger the landscape became. Entire hills were made of rusted metal. Ancient gears protruded from the ground. At times Grimbold thought he could see enormous machines in the distance, long since transformed into mountains by the passing ages. At last they reached Iron Mountain. It was larger than anything they had ever seen. Its dark slopes gleamed in the sunlight as though the entire mountain had once been forged from molten metal. At the base of the mountain they found an entrance guarded by two colossal stone sentinels. The statues depicted ancient machine beings whose eyes were made of pale blue crystals. As Rusttooth approached, the crystals began to glow. A deep rumble filled the air and the enormous gate slowly opened. Beyond it stretched a tunnel descending deep into the heart of the mountain. The walls were made of iron and covered with strange symbols. Some resembled constellations while others looked like gears and hammers. For hours Grimbold and Rusttooth followed the passage until they finally entered a vast cavern. There they stopped in astonishment. Hanging in the center of the chamber was a bell. It was larger than a house. Massive chains suspended it above a circular platform. Its silvery surface was engraved with thousands of tiny stars. Though the bell remained perfectly still, Grimbold thought he could hear a faint humming sound. “Who could have built something like this?” he whispered. Before Rusttooth could answer, something strange happened. The glowing lines hidden beneath the rust on his armor began to shine softly. For the first time during their journey, the old dragon seemed nervous. Slowly he stepped forward. The moment his claw touched the platform, the bell rang. The sound was neither loud nor thunderous. Yet it seemed to echo across the entire world. The tone traveled through mountains, valleys, and clouds alike. Grimbold felt his heart race. Images appeared before his eyes. He saw great fires burning in the heavens.
