My sincere thanks to civitasvox who challenged me to make a painting with an airship. <3
The crashing airship, traditionally a symbol of war and destruction, is made of sunflowers, which symbolize light, life and renewal. As the airship descends, the sunflowers scatter, putting an end to the conflicts between countries and start the spread of peace. The bystanders reaching for the yellow flowers embody humanity's desire to embrace and preserve this newfound peace, illustrating a collective yearning for a world free of war and violence.
