Psalm 1:3 says, "He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers."

This verse paints a beautiful picture of a tree that is planted by streams of water. The water provides nourishment and sustenance to the tree, allowing it to bear fruit and thrive.

In the same way, when we are rooted in God's ways and constantly receiving his nourishment, we too can bear fruit and thrive. We need to be like the tree that is planted by streams of water, constantly drawing from the source of life.

But just like a river can dry up if it is not constantly fed by tributaries and rain, so too can our spiritual lives dry up if we are not constantly drawing from God's word and seeking his presence.

Let us be like the tree planted by streams of water, constantly drawing from God's word and seeking his presence. Let us be firmly rooted in his ways, bearing fruit and prospering in all that we do. And may we always remember that it is through him and his provision that we can truly thrive.
