An antique etching illustration from the 17th century by Athanasius Kircher shows a theory of different-sized giants. On the bottom of the etching, there are bones and skulls as well as a large prehistoric circular fossil. From left to right, we see a normal-sized human next to a giant described as Goliath, then a giant described as Siculus which is the biggest giant, a giant Biblicus, and finally, a giant Mythologicus. The background depicts a mountainous landscape.
