However, as followers of Jesus, we are called to a different standard. Our focus should not be on worldly success or fame, but on following Christ and living a life that honors Him.

In Matthew 16:24-25, Jesus says, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it."

This passage reminds us that following Jesus requires us to let go of our own desires and ambitions, and to instead focus on His will for our lives.
