Dreamer of the Cosmic Thread
I sit and watch the world go by,
a fragile spark in endless sky.
The stars above, the earth below,
both call my name, both bid me go.
I dream of ships on silver streams,
of mushroom roots and cosmic dreams.
A web that binds, a pulse so deep,
a secret song the ancients keep.
Beneath the soil, beneath the stone,
the mycelium whispers: You’re not alone.
A map of light, a woven thread,
connecting life where none should tread.
And out beyond this world we know,
where stardust drifts and comets glow,
I dream we’ll find the same embrace
a fungal touch in endless space.
For life is not a single place,
nor bound by time, nor fixed in face.
It grows unseen, it spreads, it thrives
the oldest spark, the fire that drives.
And when we leave this earth behind,
to touch the stars, to seek, to find,
may roots still follow where we tread
a living bridge where none have spread.
I’m just a dreamer, lost in time,
but in the dark, the spores still climb.
A silent hymn, a whispered plea
for earth, for stars, for you, for me.
