The foreground features several firebugs (Pyrrhocoris apterus) with their characteristic red and black markings, crawling on a fallen log. Not sure what their patterns mean, but I was impressed by how artistic their markings on - probably should have had two in the foreground to be able to determine if each has its own pattern.
