Formerly known as Thirty Wells, a boom town that died when the mines played out ; shortly thereafter, the wells ran dry because the source aquifer was depleted. Decades later, a little-known group called the Pantheistic Church bought the town and surrounding area, founding an intentional community focused on agriculture and light manufacturing. The church renovated what it could of the old ghost town, most of which had surprisingly good bones, and drilled new wells. Of course, they had to build a lot of new residential units and professional spaces as well as all of the necessary civic infrastructure, and they lobbied for the road system that made the town accessible. No one was ever able to discover how they paid for all of this, but it became apparent that the rich and powerful had somehow been induced to support the Pantheistic Church wholeheartedly, giving billions and lending the full force of their influence to the community.
