By the rules of quantum superposition and wavefunction collapse, there are an infinite number of instances of you, each in a parallel universe. When one of those instances dies, your conscious focus instantaneously switches to an alternate instance in a parallel universe, at which place you continue :) Recursion : If the "many worlds" interpretation, as it is called, may be false, then like Schrodinger's Cat it is simultaneously true and false (i.e. a superposition) in two hyperparallel supersets of parallel universes. So even if it is false in one universe instance, it is true in at least one other infinite sets of universes. So if your scientists disprove it in one, they concurrently prove it true in another :) Sat chit ananda :)
