Yet another one based on an old photo, which this time was from an impromptu photo-shoot I did, where I wanted to do something inspired by the Jean Giraud (Moebius) artwork 'The Hunter'. So I shaved the beard I'd grown over winter, searched the house for a costume and ventured off into the garden with camera and tripod in hand. I thought I'd bring it full circle by trying to convince the AI to transform it into the style that inspired it, and while this isn't quite what I imagined, it's the closest I've got and I do really like it. Interestingly I haven't been able to replicate this effect either!

Also, I just remembered, said photos on which this was based were also inspired by a line that I always loved in the book Catalogue of the Universe by New Zealand writer Margaret Mahy, in which one of the characters says, in reference to growing a beard; "I've got to have a hobby, it's the boredom and the drumming in the jungle! The drums! The drums!"
