Churrigueresque Psychosomatic Magicalism.A masterpiece of raw, psychedelic surrealism. The scene is a spectral, otherworldly locomotive carriage, its interior a fusion of Zdzisław Beksinski's architectural decay and Tim Burton's gothic whimsy. Seated within are the Passengers, a collection of figures clad in exquisite, dapper, and head-turning Halloween party attire. Their fashion is a Jean-Michel Basquiat graffiti-scrawl meets the elegant drapery of Egon Schiele. One figure wears a tailcoat woven from shadow and Francis Bacon's distorted flesh, its lapel adorned with a living, pulsating orchid. Another wears a gown that is a Henri Matisse cut-out come to life, with patterns that shift like Jackson Pollock's paint splatters. Their masks are not mere disguises but René Magritte paradoxes--faces of polished bone and Andy Warhol's silkscreened repetition. The atmosphere is thick with psychosomatic surrealism, a psychedelic postimpressionist haze. The colors are the muted, harmonious tones of Odilon Redon violently clashing with the electric frenzy of Wassily Kandinsky. The entire composition is rendered with the hyperreal texture of Francisco de Zurbaran and the art brut primitivism of Niko Pirosmani, capturing a moment of haunting, sophisticated revelry frozen in time. In the style of Dali, Alex Gray, surreal, vivid colors, masterpiece, best quality AI art, diffuse lighting, ambient occlusion, Polished, Masterful Surrealism, Photorealistic, unreal engine, 128K, UHD, crisp quality, light reflections, RHADS, atmospheric, 3D texture, 3D shading, ultra 3-dimensional effect, octane render, volumetric lighting, highest quality AI art, classic composition, rich texture and color, LSD/DMT

More about Diversity Saturday

The railway company proclaimed Diversity Saturday and invited everybody to dress according to his individual nature, provided he had purchased a ticket.

The gentlemen arrived in black suits, black ties, and expressions suggesting that individuality had lately died and they were carrying it to the cemetery.

The ladies wore dresses containing enough colors to establish several independent republics. One had a yellow triangle upon her shoulder and a blue circle near her knee. I could not determine her politics, but admired her geography.

Our carriage had been painted by a man who evidently accepted payment in leftover paint. The ceiling resembled a continent after a revolution. This made it an excellent setting for a civic occasion.

Across from me sat a bald gentleman with an orchid in his lapel.

“Are you enjoying the diversity?” I asked.

“Immensely,” he said, without disturbing his face.

“In what respect?”

“My flower is pink. His is yellow.”

This was undeniable progress. I had known towns where such a distinction would have required two churches.

The conductor entered and announced that we were all united by our differences.

A lady asked whether we were also united by our destination.

He consulted his watch.

“That is a separate department.”

We proceeded through streets of rose-colored houses, past windows containing people insufficiently prosperous to celebrate themselves on a railway.

Nobody spoke. Each passenger appeared determined to respect every other passenger’s uniqueness by avoiding all acquaintance with it.

Then the lady in the painted dress sneezed.

“Bless you,” said the gentleman beside her.

“Thank you,” she replied.

The disturbance spread. Somebody mentioned the weather. Somebody else admitted to being hungry. The bald man confessed that his orchid was artificial, and the gentleman with the yellow flower confessed that his wife had dressed him.

Within ten minutes we were talking like ordinary sinners.

At the next station the conductor returned. He seemed disappointed.

“You have forgotten the purpose of this journey,” he said.

“On the contrary,” said the lady. “We have discovered that this gentleman dislikes turnips, that one fears his sister, and your railway has carried us three stops beyond where we intended to get off.”

He assured us that mistakes were part of the human experience.

We agreed, and requested that he experience the refund.
