** Jasmine Memories **
Jasmine climbing through the heat,
barefoot laughter in the street.
You took my hand like no one had,
the world fell quiet — nothing was said.
Your voice was slow, your touch was light,
we kissed beneath the porch-lamp light.
Eyes that draw me in their flame,
a silent call I could not reclaim.
You whispered something soft and low —
I said, “don’t tell me, let it grow.”
Time melted sweetly into skin,
the night exhaled, and let us in.
We fell like music meant to stay,
Hearts in rhythm, breathing slow
in jasmine’s trace.
Your t-shirt smelled of midnight rain,
the sky above forgot its name.
We danced inside the kitchen light,
and didn’t care for wrong or right.
You laughed, and I forgot the year —
just jasmine, soul, and you so near.
We didn’t talk of what comes next,
Our rhythm knew the rest.
You touched my neck, I closed my eyes —
the moon pulled low, above our sighs.
What stayed was not the words we said,
but how your breath aligned with mine instead.
One chord held tight,
No words to say that night.
Two hearts beating slow,
All we were meant to know.
We fell like music meant to stay,
Hearts in rhythm, breathing slow
in jasmine’s trace.
