In the German language, there is a fateful double meaning of the word "Krebs."
It is simultaneously the designation for the innocent sea creatures, the crab, thus the crustacean, but also for the fateful, often deadly disease cancer. Unfortunately, I am also suffering from it and struggling with a tumor at the base of my tongue.
"Cancer is a warlord who cruelly tortures his prisoners to death."
This could be the beginning of a story for your magnificent series of illustrations.
But unfortunately, this metaphor seems to work exclusively in the often recognizable ambiguity of the figurative German language, doesn't it?
