This painting is part of the Delacroix Series, aka "The Delacroix Women Collection," portraits of the women of the Delacroix Line. Mahri's stray lock of hair in this portrait is a sort of memorial gesture, duplicating the stray lock seen on the the portrait of the Delacroix Line's founder, Marie Therese Delacroix Silvera, at https://deepdreamgenerator.com/ddream/yrztlmamu3q .

Mahri is a Blood Sister of the Delacroix Line and an Initiate in the New Orleans chapter of the Crimson Circle. She is known in some secretly held wills, codicils and addenda as Maria Magna Eliassen as well as Maria Magna Eliassen-Delacroix.

Mahri's father Magnus Eliassen had enough influence and magical power to gain some access to his daughter, a rarity for the Delacroix women. (q.v.).
