Deep within the enchanted forests of Mistmoor, an ancient magical crossroads appears where three narrow woodland paths emerge from swirling silver mist beneath towering moss-covered alder trees. The center path glows with a soft silver light while the left path fades into darkness and the right path curves mysteriously around ancient standing stones before disappearing into the forest. In the foreground stand CR-M1 – Morksik and Borstel together with CR-M9 – Mudge, all exactly matching their official master reference images without any changes to facial features, clothing, body proportions or colors. Mudge, wearing his dark green traveler's jacket, brown leather satchel and slightly crooked Tirol hat with its distinctive feather, has raised one paw, quietly stopping his companions. Morksik stands alert beside him while Borstel watches the crossroads with cautious curiosity. Ahead of them, an enormous ancient ash tree has awakened. A wise weathered face naturally emerges from the living bark, its glowing amber eyes watching the three travelers with calm intelligence rather than menace. Delicate silver runes shimmer beneath the moss covering the forest floor, while tiny magical lights drift through the mist. The atmosphere is ancient, mysterious and peaceful, emphasizing that the forest itself is alive and choosing its travelers. Rich woodland details, warm golden sunlight filtering through the canopy, cinematic painterly fantasy realism, masterpiece quality, ultra-high detail, expressive characters, magical storytelling, 4:3 composition. Small white full-body unicorn with the text "AI by Unicorngraphics" in the bottom-right corner.

For a long moment the three narrow paths remained perfectly still, their silver fog glowing softly beneath the ancient trees as though each road patiently waited to be chosen. Neither Morksik nor Borstel moved. Even Mudge seemed unusually thoughtful as he studied the three mysterious trails. His cheerful smile faded for the first time since they had met him. Slowly he scratched behind one ear, took another small sip from his bottle and quietly admitted that magical crossroads were among the few things he never underestimated. Ordinary roads merely led from one place to another, but roads like these often decided for themselves who was worthy of walking upon them. Borstel looked suspiciously from one path to the next before asking how a road could possibly make such a decision. Mudge merely shrugged and replied that he had stopped questioning magical things years ago because they rarely appreciated being doubted. He casually added that the last road he had insulted had carried him backwards for nearly two days before politely dropping him into the middle of a monastery whose monks still believed he owed them six barrels of cider. Borstel could not decide whether the story was true, but Morksik had begun to notice that behind every ridiculous tale the odd otter seemed to hide a tiny piece of genuine wisdom. As they carefully approached the crossroads, something remarkable happened. The left-hand path slowly darkened until it almost disappeared beneath the mist. The road to the right shimmered briefly before twisting itself around a circle of ancient stones and vanishing among the trees. Only the middle path remained unchanged, glowing faintly with a soft silver light that seemed strangely welcoming. Mudge nodded with quiet satisfaction. "There you are," he murmured. "Looks like the road has already made up its mind." Borstel frowned and asked whether that happened often. Mudge answered that truly old roads possessed excellent manners. They disliked wasting travelers' time and usually revealed the proper direction if those standing before them carried honest hearts. "Of course," he added with a crooked grin, "they're considerably less friendly toward liars, thieves and tax collectors." Borstel immediately looked at the overflowing satchel hanging from Mudge's shoulder and raised one eyebrow. The otter followed his gaze, coughed awkwardly and quickly explained that he preferred the far more respectable profession of occasional finder of unattended valuables. Morksik smiled as the three companions stepped onto the silver path together. The deeper they ventured into the forest, the quieter everything became. Even the birds had fallen silent. Strange glowing symbols occasionally shimmered beneath the moss before fading again as though hidden beneath the earth itself.
