The Great Weal

More about The Great Weal

At the center of the universe lies a great weal that acts as a sort of cog to which everything operates in relation to, as everything is interdependent on everything else. But this is no mechanical cog like that in a clock even tho the concept is much the same. The best I can describe it is as "organic". It is a way station. A great recycler. It is our true home and where we spend our time between the time we spend in the various physical realities which can best be described as schools (such as our time here on earth). Our true selves are not physical in nature so we create these schools as ways to learn and experience our universe as thoroughly as possible. In effect: to enlighten ourselves. But this enlightenment is an eternal process. There is no nirvana or boss level to beat. Only further enlightenment.

I was raised a Christian. Then became a hardcore nihilistic atheist. Then, over the past 13 years developing the spiritual concept described above. I wish I could define it better after more than a decade contemplating upon it, but I definitely feel that an important aspect of this universe I envision is that nobody is supposed to know these answers. We self-inflict this strong amnesia before entering one school or another as a key part of the experience is not knowing what lies behind the curtain. This idea stands in sharp contrast to the various religious charlatans who claim they know what their god demands from you. Nobody talks to God. We are God. Together we create these physical realities we use for our enlightenment. We're literally all in this together.
