This is the end, I feel it true,
A chapter closed, a sky once blue
Now dressed in shades of twilight hue,
A silent whisper, a soft adieu.

Gone are the days of laughter sweet,
The echoes fade down the empty street,
Yet in my heart, two souls still meet,
In memories where past and present greet.

The stars above, they know my plea,
For time to pause, for eyes to see,
The beauty in a fallen leaf,
The strength in standing, despite the grief.

And though this end has come too soon,
Beneath the watchful eye of moon,
I find the courage to embrace the tune,
Of life’s great cycle, its endless rune.

For every end leads to a start,
A chance to heal, to be apart,
To grow, to love, to truly impart,
The essence of our mortal art.

So, this is the end, I feel it true,
But also a beginning, in skies anew,
With hope as my guide, I'll journey through,
Embracing the dawn, in its golden hue.
