Lost history, remnants of what once was home, by Anton Pieck, Vincent van Gogh, Claude Verlinde, and Oscar Chichoni, with touches of colour added by Franz Marc
“There is no flag large enough to cover the shame of killing innocent people.” ― Howard Zinn
The original image is what remains of an old clapboard house in rural Georgia, US. The all-wood construction house had four rooms and was divided in half by a long hallway that ran from front door to back door. The fireplaces were double sided, shared between a bedroom and the parlor on one half and the other bedroom and the kitchen on the other half. It had a large porch that wrapped completely around the house. It caught fire from a badly set-up space heater.
