The eagle is a majestic bird known for its ability to soar high in the sky. It is a symbol of strength, freedom, and perseverance. But did you know that the eagle also teaches us a valuable lesson about waiting upon the Lord?
In Isaiah 40:31, it says, "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." The eagle's ability to soar high in the sky is not just due to its physical strength, but also its ability to wait upon the wind.
Just like the eagle, we must learn to wait upon the Lord. We must trust in His timing and His plan for our lives. The waiting process may be difficult, but it is during this time that our faith is strengthened and renewed.
Waiting upon the Lord also requires us to let go of our own desires and plans. We must surrender our will to His and trust that He knows what is best for us. This can be a challenging process, but it is necessary for us to grow in our faith and relationship with God.
So, let us learn from the eagle and wait upon the Lord. Let us trust in His plan for our lives and surrender our will to His. As we wait, we will renew our strength and mount up with wings like eagles, ready to soar to new heights in our walk with God.
