Joan Mizerski has lived women's bodybuilding for nearly 35 years -- in her early days training and competing year round, including starring in her own long running fitness show "Joanercize" on ESPN (where it must be reported Mizerski had claims of inappropriate conduct with other fitness women cast members -- nothing ever came to trial and several of the women exonerated Mizerski but ESPN eventually ended the show with a modest settlement to the complainants.) After a break from the public eye and bodybuilding competitions, Mizerski reappeared as a spokesperson for wildlife conservation about ten years ago. Not only did she rejuvenate her appeaerance but she also became well-versed in the nuances of conservation law, including testifying in Washington on behalf of public game reserves. Mizerski, a hunter, kayaker, rock climber and nature photographer (in addition to weight training and aerobics) today lives in nature herself in a secluded home in northwestern California. Her primary income is earned from her job as a real estate agent, but she also has a monetized YouTube channel with more than 30K subscribers and it's growing every day. She lives alone with her two dogs, a small stable of horses and 20 acres of land that she rents out to a sustainable farming operations.
