These have to be Dream World ruins because they cannot be real ones ; the design is just too far out. However, such ruins make perfect sense if they were formulated using the dream logic of the dreamer, which could create anything. The accuracy of the dream might (or might not) be a function of the dreamers conscious knowledge of ancient architecture and related construction techniques...
