ArtistA wide shot of a valley in a rocky mountain desert. On a rocky outcrop, a gleaming fortress made of white stone with gold-topped towers. The surrounding valley is devoid of any vegetation. A winding road leads from the fortress to the valley bottom. Dogula, an anthropomorphic Transylvanian hound. Dogula wears black robes and a black cloak with a high collar and prominently shows his long canines protruding past his lower lip. Dogula holds a staff made of ebony which has a faintly glowing moonstone inset at the top. Dogula stands on a hilltop on the opposite side of the valley from the fortress. Dogula is seen from behind. Five shimmering, semi-transparent doppelgangers of Dogula stand on the valley floor each at a distance from the others. An army of anthropomorphic cockroaches covers the valley floor and attacks the fake Dogulas. The anthropomorphic cockroaches wear black armor with a large red pentagram engraved on the front. The anthropomorphic cockroaches carry halberds in their hands and bows slung over their shoulders. The anthropomorphic cockroaches carry quivers attached to their belts. Each quiver is filled with black arrows with red feathers. Crocknaton, an anthropomorphic alligator wearing ancient Egyptian-style clothing and holding a staff made of birchwood with a melanite garnet inset at the top. Crocknaton faces the real Dogula. A ray of light emanates from the melanite garnet and shoots towards Dogula. In the distance an army of anthropomorphic crocodiles in ancient Egyptian-style armor and with ancient Egyptian-style weapons approaches.
Lord Dogula is almost spent. He is exhausted and wounded. Has he bought his friends enough time? Have they succeeded in preventing the portal from opening? He has neither the time nor the energy to ponder these questions. Then, the sound of a distant war-horn reaches his ears. Wearily he looks up. To his amazement, he sees an army gathering on the horizon and the banners of Crocodilia flying high on the breeze. Immediately he feels his courage return and redoubles his efforts.
The armies of Crocodilia have no trouble charging into the ranks of the enemy. The soldiers of the School of Death believe them to be just another mirage until they are hit with the terrible truth. They have been outflanked. Soon they are cut off from retreat and their leader is taken captive by King Crockankhamun himself as he rides into battle on his chariot at the head of his army.
