In Brazil, 4 women die every day from femicide. We don't even have all the data on how many are victims of violence; there are numbers, but there are still men who think that being the father of a girl, for example, gives them the privilege of being her first, or of giving her away. There is a lot of violence happening in conservative, right-wing homes that goes unreported, so only the deaths appear as the true reality, and the rapes are reported to the police.

My reaction has always been to confront and never back down. I don't fear cowardly men, I never have. I always confront them and put those cowards in their place. I am for peace with those who are for peace!
