She follows the way
over sky, over sea,
beyond all reaches
of the reality
she had
known.

Her breath felt light
her mind was still
from the ghosts
that haunted her
'til
she followed
her heart
she followed
her soul that was
so long denied
years untold
while she pushed
and tried to fit in
a reality that crushed
her heart
made her soul thin,
when all she had
to really do
was follow
her heart
to herself
be true—
She broke the binds
She unravelled
the clues
she found
her own way
to make it
through
reality, and
So, Now
She follows her heart
She follows her soul
over the land
over sky, over sea,
beyond all reaches
of the reality
she had known—
to become
herself.
